2nd Annual · Dayton, Ohio · 2027
Three clubs. One putter.
A whole lot of good.
The 3+ Club Challenge is Dayton’s charity golf tradition. Play the course with just three clubs and a putter — and help send a local junior golfer to their next level.
Fewer Clubs. More Fun. Greater Purpose.
The rules are simple. The shots are not.
Everyone plays the whole round with just three clubs and a putter. No perfect gap wedge, no bailout club — just you, a few honest sticks, and a lot more creativity. It’s harder, it’s funnier, and it turns a normal round into the best story at the 19th hole.
Why fewer clubs? Because that’s the whole point: we play with less so a kid can have more.
One club away.
Every kid on a range in Dayton has the same dream. Some have the swing, the work ethic, the quiet obsession — everything but the checkbook. A lesson here, a fitting there, an entry fee for the tournament that gets them seen. Small numbers that decide big futures.
We think a lot of these kids are one club away. So once a year, we make the game a little harder for ourselves — and a lot easier for them. Proceeds support local junior golfers, right here in Dayton.
